stephen@plainscraft.com BioBorn in the midwest, I grew up on the edge of what was once prairie but has since been mostly converted to farmland. My great grandparents farmed wheat on the plains of Kansas. I have spent some time in the mountains, some time on the coast, and I love them both. Ties to family and the sights and sounds of the land of my youth have drawn me back. I now track the prairie. In 1995 I married another Kansan and together we brought two beautiful children into this world. Parenting, playing music, cooking, writing, reading, learning from the land, are my preferred ways to spend my days. To make ends meet, I maintain several Linux systems and handle network abuse complaints for a local cable company. I also write for publication.
